Wow. What a way to kick off the season. Im very pleased with my two fifth place finishes at the 2008 Skate America and the 2008 HomeSense Skate Canada events. Both events were a big success and a great debut of my new long program.Speaking of my new long program, I could not believe it when the final marks were announced at the 2008 HomeSense Skate Canada when I was on top of the leaderboard. I still am shocked I won the free skate but winning the free skate has given me the motivation to skate great this season and I know I can compete with the best at the World Championships in LA.
