The Yonkers Figure Skating Club YFSC was established in 1986 by a group of parents whose children were interested in all aspects of Figure Skating from the recreational to the competitive. The YFSC is located at the Edward J. Murray Memorial Skating Center in Yonkers, New York, and is a member in good standing with the Ice Skating Institute ISI and the U.S. Figure Skating Association USFSA, the national governing body of the sport of figure skating in the United States. During the 200607 season the YFSC celebrated its 20th Anniversary. The Clubs membership has increased over the years, producing several regional, sectional and nationally recognized, competitive athletes in the area of single skating, pair skating and synchronized team skating.
